"IF YOU TAKE HIS LYRICS TO HEART, YOU MAY LEARN SOMETHING"
RealTalk the Black Boy King is a hip hop artist from the West Coast of the U.S.A now living in Dallas, TX. I grew up in various parts of the country, but spent most of my youth bouncing from the crime riddled neighborhoods of Whitely, to the Condon Gardens Housing Projects (tore down in 2009) to Tropicana Ave in Las Vegas, NV. At times was homeless, the son of a Black Panther, teacher and political activist, I still fell into the negative habits that befall most African American men in today's times. Through the grace of God, I survived life threatening situations, maintained, thrived and gained a new perspective on life that I love sharing with you.
I try to bring my life experiences to your ears over diverse beats. My dedication is purely to telling my story and the African American reality through personal and anecdotal experiences. I've produced hard hitting tracks that balance political powder kegs, audacious floss raps, complementary beats through great producers, and honest-to-god inspiration. I try to put racism and inequality directly into the listener’s ear. I define it in different ways and perspectives from my life.
Spiritually, I know that the so-called Blacks of the Transatlantic Slave Trade spread throughout the world during the 400 year history suffering persecutions in those lands, and the Natives of North and South America are indeed the Israelites of the 1611 King James Bible. Deuteronomy 28:15-68 and history back this up.Therefore, I worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and follow the commands of Christ. I reflect this in my music, but try to paint a picture through real, raw feelings. This ain't no church music, this is Real Talk !
I love each and every one of you who have taken the time to check out my site, my music, follow me on Instagram and Spotify, purchased my music and supported me throughout this journey. Let's keep the momentum going and I'll see you in the kingdom. Peace.
